Christine & Dorothy

Christine (our old Volvo) was already in situ, but Dorothy (the new
caravan) needed somewhere to live, so where better than our
front garden?

I was not initially over pleased about decimating the front garden
and losing my quince tree but Kenny didn't care for the jam, or
the pretty blossom that seemed to continue all year round. So in
came the diggers and out came all my plants.

It took about 4 days for the builders to complete the work and in
the end it did look good.

I had to agree it made sense for Dorothy to live at home where we
could protect and nurture her and so on a bright January day we
brought her to her new home.

The only problem we had was getting the cover on and luckily we
got the help of our neighbour and fellow caravaner, Jules, so it all
ended up okay in the end.
