The Lake District

One of our favourite places is Keswick.

I took the photos below on our visit to Scotland in 2007 when we
stopped at Keswick on our way to Scotland and again on our way
home. We'd been there before in 2004 and chose the same place
to stay (the fantastic Highfield Hotel).

This time we walked (and struggled) up Cat Bells and one
evening we saw Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca at the Theatre by
the Lake, a must for all visitors to Keswick.
