Our Eventful Summer Trip To France

Read all about our summer holiday to Argeles-Sur-Mer in the Languodoc region of France.
Argeles is described in one guide book I read as the last of the big resort towns of the south coast.
It is quite a busy town with plenty of beach life and bar life just off the Central beach. There are numerous campsites, some owned by large chains and some private. The site we stayed on was Privately owned by Miguel Jaques and his family but it’s by no means a small site with over 1000 pitches and has a 5* rating. It can’t be bad as most of the customers are regulars who book the same pitch year after year. The site even have a 10 year club, people who have been going for 10 years or more are invited to a small drinks party almost every week in summer.
