To break up the long journey to our first stop of Portpatrick, we stayed one night in Keswick in the Lake District (see our Lake District page). We spent 3 nights in Portpatrick and 3 nights at Loch Lomond before heading back to Keswick for 2 nights, then home to Poole. |

southwards to Dunskey Castle along a
breathtaking cliff path and it was there
we saw a caravan on a cliff edge site
that led to us becoming caravanners!
