We arrived at the site at around 14:30 and were greeted by the warden. We had booked the holiday online and had paid a deposit only so the remainder was to be paid on arrival. We had been given a voucher by Glossop Caravans when we bought our van which entitled us to a free night.

After sorting that out we were offered our choice of pitch. October half term is not very busy so we had a wide choice. We opted for Hardstanding near the Bathrooms.

We couldn’t complain about anything.
Access to the site was easy pitches were well spaced and kept very well. Bathrooms were clean, showers were warm. Although we didn’t use them there was a TV room, pool table, and indoor area  for kids. There was also a play area with the usual kids playground activities.

There was a small shop in the site reception which if you were desperate you could manage to make a meal from it’s wares. It could not by any stretch of the imagination be called well stocked but you could survive if all else failed. The reception also housed the usual leaflet stand with all the details of activities and places to visit around Cornwall.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful even including the area manager who was visiting during our stay.

Would we go again?  Sure if we wanted to visit Cornwall again this site would be on our shortlist.
